French Nautical Almanach

Since 1889, the IMCCE provide a book publication that contains data tables usefull for sailors. In particular, it is possible to estimate our position using a sextant that mesure the altitude angle of the Sun. This French Nautical Almanac is now elaborated by F. Dauvergne, S. Lemaitre and P. A. Desrotour.

I also develop the new version of the programs in C++17 that will automatically provides the data tables using recents ephemerids of the solar system. Theses programs are more flexibles and more easy to update with the object oriented approach and a json input paramter file. One can see more on the IMCCE website .
